"Equal Exchange is like drinking a cup of justice... And justice can taste outstanding."
Pastor Timothy Bernard, Redeemer Lutheran Church

In partnership with congregations, community groups, individuals of faith and faith-based organizations such as Lutheran World Relief, the American Friends Service Committee, Brethren Witness, Catholic Relief Services, Disciples of Christ, Mennonite Central Committee U.S., the Presbyterian Church (USA), the United Church of Christ, the United Methodist Committee on Relief, and the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, Equal Exchange is a bridge between farming communities and our own. By paying a fair price to the farmer, working with democratic cooperatives, offering affordable credit and supporting sustainable agriculture, we help these farmers build better lives. By offering Equal Exchange coffee, tea, cocoa and snacks at fellowship hour, in the office, or as part of a fundraiser, bazaar or buying club, your community can also make a difference, sharing fellowship with our global neighbors as we help them to help themselves.

About The Program
This wholesale webstore is for Lutheran congregations, churches, and faith-based organizations who want to order fairly traded coffee and tea to serve at fellowship hour or coffee service, for office use or buying clubs, or for fundraising at special events or gatherings. This site is currently usable only to customers in the U.S.

Product Information
100% of our products are fairly traded in accordance with internationally recognized standards. Our coffee, tea, cocoa, chocolate and sugar are Certified Fairly Traded by TransFair USA. Our organic products are certified organically grown and processed in accordance with Oregon Tilth Standards and the California Organic Food Act of 1990. All coffee, cocoa, and chocolate products are certified kosher.

Percolator coffees are valve sealed and come in a resealable package. 12 and 10 oz. packages, whole bean or drip grind, are valve sealed. Both will stay fresh for months if kept in a cool, dry place. Pillow packs are designed specially to brew one delicious pot of coffee in commercial 12-cup Bunn or Bloomfield style brewers (not home brewers). Satellite packs are designed for use in commercial 1.5 gallon satellite brewers. Our Organic Teas are packaged close to the crop production area and will stay fresh for an extended period of time. Once opened, all products should be kept in an air tight container to maintain freshness and flavor.

Pricing
Prices listed are wholesale rates in US Dollars and are subject to change. You can help us keep costs down and help us serve you better by ordering by the full case, planning ahead and ordering larger orders, and keeping your account information consistent (for example, ordering under the name of your congregation or organization and having it shipped to the same address).

Quantities
So that we can make prices more affordable, ordering for coffee, tea, cocoa, chocolate, sugar and snacks is by the full case only. A limited number of mixed cases and samplers are also available on the web store. Orders made through the web store cannot include individual packages or mixed cases that do not appear on the web store. For information on other ways to order, please download an order form, or contact us directly for more information.

Shipping
As a special incentive for using our webstore, shipping on all items in the lower 48 United States is half price, $1.75/case of coffee, tea, cocoa, chocolate, sugar and snacks. Normal shipping is via UPS, $3.50/case of coffee, tea, cocoa or chocolate in the lower 48 states (free on orders of 4 or more cases). Shipping to other areas may vary. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is by UPS and costs $10/case of coffee, tea or cocoa ($5/case on orders of 4 or more cases). We recommend that you plan ahead and allow two weeks (10 business days) between the time you order and when you need your shipment. If you need to place a more urgent order, please contact us directly.

Order Error Policy
Please notify us of any errors in your order within ten days of receipt and we will do whatever we can to correct the issue.
